Meljac Celebrates 2026 Colour of the Year: Pantone Cloud Dancer
Meljac
Meljac, the French creator of luxury switches, is showcasing Pantone’s 2026 Colour of the Year, Cloud Dancer, through its porcelain and tempered glass collections. This billowy white shade symbolises renewal, creating a sense of calm and serenity that cultivates reflection and creativity. It sets the trend for designers and architects, hinting at bright, elegant spaces.Taking inspiration from the 2026 Colour of the Year, Meljac blends calm softness with functionality in its products.
Limoges and Pierrot collections: celebrating the Colour of the Year
Two of Meljac’s collections particularly lend themselves to the serenity of Cloud Dancer:
- Limoges collection: models in glazed or enamelled porcelain provide a soft, bright surface that blends seamlessly into an interior based on the soothing, sleek tones of Cloud Dancer. Each switch serves as a design element exuding light and elegance.
- Pierrot collection: tempered glass products catch the light and heighten the soft sheen of the shades in the RAL colour chart. Combined with mechanisms in chrome-plated or gilded brass, they add a contemporary radiance to any space, becoming decorative objects in their own right.
Some brass finishes particularly resonate with the subtle lightness of Cloud Dancer:
- Brass and Bronze shades provide delicate warmth, creating a pleasing contrast with the bright neutrality of the Colour of the Year.
- Light Nickel and Chrome shades highlight texture and depth, elevating the airy clarity created by Cloud Dancer.
- Brass with epoxy creates an elegant continuity, a sense of visual harmony with no broken lines.
These combinations create spaces characterised by serenity and balance, while also showcasing Meljac’s expert craftsmanship in surface treatment.
A dialogue between material and light
Taking inspiration from the 2026 Colour of the Year, Meljac offers a contemporary interpretation of white that creates balance and harmony, reflecting a personalised approach to living spaces.
Meljac’s switches and sockets serve as design elements that are perfectly aligned with the colour trends of 2026, while also accentuating quality materials and precision finishes.
With pure lines and attractive shades, they are the perfect finishing touch for relaxing interiors, where clarity and softness provide a much-needed oasis of serenity in a visually cluttered world.
